ABOUT US The Alliance of Illinois Cemeterians was established in 2001 with the vision to help cemeterians and those close to the industry throughout Illinois. Membership is open to all individuals interested in the management of private, not-for-profit, religious, fraternal, township or municipal cemeteries.
AIC Marketplace Group on Facebook — For Sale, For Donation, or Wanted Items
Many of the tools of our trade are somewhat specific to our industry. If you have items that you would like to sell or donate to another cemetery, or if you are wanting to find an item, members will be able to post those “For Sale, For Donation, or Wanted Items” by creating a post with words, photos, or even videos. Members can include in their post the asking price and can interact with the potential buyers right on the group page. The group is set up as private so AIC members will have to find the page and request to be a member. The URL is www.facebook.com/groups/421547471837145/ AIC members can type it into their search engine, or they can search for AIC MARKETPLACE.
MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of AIC is to foster a spirit of mutual assistance and cooperation between individuals interested in the highest standard of cemetery care; to assist members in developing and enhancing their capabilities; and, to compile and distribute information regarding standards, practices, techniques, competency and ethics as applied to cemetery care and operation.
